Bridge - Ewoo 

This bridge was originally designed for EasyDent, (not EZ200 Dental) an imaging product from ewoousa.com.  That website now seems to be defunct, and Ewoo seems to have been renamed to Vatech.  Website: http://www.vatechamerica.com/software/ezdent.php

To activate the bridge, in the Main Menu, click Setup, Program Links. Double click on EwooEZDent in the list. Check the Enabled box, then verify the Path of file to open and Additional Properties.  Click OK. You will now have a button in your Chart module labeled 'EZDent'.

The bridge sends patient data from EZ2000 Plus Dental to an XML text file.  Example file:

The text file is called linkage.xml, and is created in the same folder on the local computer as the EasyDent program is located.

EZ2000 Plus Dental then launches EasyDent, which picks up the information in the linkage.xml file.  If no file is present, EasyDent will open with no patient selected.  If the patient is not recognized by EasyDent, a new patient will be created in EasyDent.
