EZ 2000 Manual - E-Bills

E-Bills using DentalXChange

This service is provided by DentalXChange:
http://www.dentalxchange.com/x/provider.jsp

We have asked DentalXChange to not troubleshoot any failed statements for earlier versions because the solution is nearly always to update EZ 2000 Dental.

Electronic statements are not exactly the same as our printed statements, so you need to be aware of the limitations. The areas where customers have complained about the electronic statements are:
1. Payment plans and installment plans. Printed statements show more information.
2. Emailing statements. This can be done directly from within Open Dental, but we haven't enhanced the electronic statements to allow you to instead send statements by e-mail through DentalXChange.
3. Single patient statements. If you prefer to send statements to single patients rather than to the entire family as a whole, then you would need to use paper statements.
4. Paper statements show a better breakdown by patient. Electronic statements show family members intermingled.
