Dental Laboratories Setup 

You can maintain a list of dental labs you send Lab Cases to, as well as their services and turnaround times. 

In the Main Menu, click Setup, Laboratories.

Click Add or double click on an existing lab to edit.

Default Lab Slip:  Assign a Sheet template as the default Lab Slip for this lab. You can do this by scanning the lab slip provided by the lab and using it as a background image for the Sheet. Scanning in the lab slip is optional.  Other required elements are placed on top, such as instructions, due date, and license number.

Turnaround Times:  Turnaround times for services can be set for each lab.  Adding, editing, and deleting turnaround times only affects future lab cases.  It does not affect existing lab cases.

  - Days Published:  Use the turnaround times published by the lab. 
  - Actual Days:  Might be one or two days longer to account for travel time or padding time.
