Guardians

In the Patient Edit window, there is a box for guardians.  Adding guardians is done from within the child's window.  If the parents already have birthdates entered, then the Defaults button will automatically set the guardians.  The automation will include all other children in the family. This feature can be used for foster homes as well.

Guardians may also be added manually with the Add button or edited by double clicking.

Use the "..." button to the right of the Guardian box to search for other patients or non-patients that are guardians.

If you are using the guardians feature, then you will want to see the guardians from the main Family module screen.  Go to Display Fields, PatientInformation, and add the Guardians field to the list of fields showing.

To see guardians on appointments, go to the Appointment Views, and add Guardians to each view.
